Your outlook: Combining theory with practice

We are always looking for working students or interns who would like to work with us during the semester break or during the semester itself. There are a number of areas from which to choose.

Engineering: Here we analyze, plan and support the implementation of new industrial plants or modernization projects in all technical and economic areas in order to optimize plant productivity.

We are primarily looking for engineering students in this area. Ideally, you will have majored in process engineering, electrical and measurement engineering, strength analysis, steel engineering, configuration planning, materials engineering,or welding and assembly technology.

Project Management: In order to ensure optimal delivery of our services to the customer, a project team is put together for each project. Taking this step means that interdisciplinary commercial as well as technical support and implementation is available. The commercial part monitors adherence to the budget and forecast processes as well as the commercial processing, while the technical part is responsible for the implementation of the solutions for and at the customer.

For this area, we are primarily looking for engineering and economics students, (business) engineering students or a similar course of study.

Corporate Functions

Controlling & Accounting: Here, budget and forecast processes are actively reviewed for plausibility and supported in terms of content. Cost benchmarks are established with the purpose of identifying areas for improvement, and business lines are supported with special evaluations and ad hoc analyses. The monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the company are also prepared here in cooperation with the shared service centers and made available to the Group.

Here we are looking primarily for students of business administration, economics, business IT, business engineering, (business/financial) mathematics or a similar course of study. Ideally, you will have an additional major in accounting and/or controlling.

Quality Management: The department maintains the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 /14001 / 50001, ISO 45001, and SCCP), supervises training measures and improves processes with appropriate preventive and corrective measures. The tasks include planning and implementation of internal and external (supplier) audits as well as the establishment of project / order related QM process descriptions and quality management plans.

For this area, we are primarily looking for engineering (mechanical engineering or process engineering for example) and (business) engineering students or business administration students.

Purchasing: This department develops and implements the commodity group and supplier strategy. The objective is the design and continuous improvement of the supply chain and achievement of cost and performance targets. Daily tasks include contract and price negotiations.

For the purchasing department, you should be pursuing an academic degree as an (industrial) engineer, economist or business computer scientist.
